An extremist Israeli student organization, in coordination with Students for the Temple organization, announced plans to break into Al-Aqsa mosque on Tuesday, as a celebration for the end of semester.

The decision sparked anger for Palestinians, Murabiteen group (Aqsa guardians) amd  students of Al-Aqsa who are now alert to prevent these break-in which desecrate holy places and violate the religious Muslim  sanctity of Al-Aqsa.

The settler groups planned a detailed schedule to take place inside the mosque, as a celebration for the end of the semester, where a lecture will be given. Different activities were also planned including visiting the monuments of the mosque, the Islamic museum near Mughrabi Gate and other gates of the mosque, in addition to using Talmudic narrations on the history of Al-Aqsa mosque.

At the same time, the students will be accompanied by private Israeli police units for protection, from the moment thy enter until they leave the mosque.

Israeli settlers regularly break into the Al-Aqsa, heavily guarded by IOF, despite the fact that Islam prohibits using mosques as touristic destinations. These visits, however, aim to Judaize the mosque identity for Israeli political goals, including seizure of the mosque and obliterating any Arab or Palestinian existence in Jerusalem.

Al-Aqsa is the third holiest place in Islam, settlers claim it sits above the proclaimed temple mount, which is the first holiest place in Judaism.
