The 2nd educational workshop on legal issues related to Shia Muslims in Zimbabwe, was held by the Iranian Cultural Center in Fatima Zahra (SA) College of the country.
According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, 30 Shia Muslims from different cities of Zimbabwe participated in the program.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the workshop, Mohsin Shojakhani, Iranian cultural attaché and representative of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) World Assembly in Zimbabwe, said that the first edition of the educational program wasreceived very well and, therefore, the center decided to organize the second edition of the workshop following the request of the participants.
The official thanked Jerald Sa’eedi who took the responsibility to teach at the workshop. “Legal issues on heritage in the framework of rules and regulations in Zimbabwe” was the main theme of the workshop.
Sa’eedi clarified various aspects of the theme for two hours and then answered the participants’ questions. Sheikh Amin Jula, head of Imam Khomeini (RA) Islamic Center in Kadoma city encouraged the participants to discuss the theme with other Shia Muslims in their hometown.
